Phew. It’s been kind of a whirlwind fall season and I’ve fallen behind in my blogging! So what better way to get back into it than to feature Miss Gabby’s senior session?
I knew I was going to adore Gabby before we even met. I send out questionnaires so I can get to know a little bit about the ladies before the shoot and one of the questions asks about the one thing they’re most proud of. Gabby’s response was, “I’m most proud of staying true to myself throughout the past few years of high school, and finding a secure, and genuine group of people that I can call my friends.” What a mature and respectable response!
Gabby has a presence about her. Of course you’ll notice her in a room because she is tall and beautiful, but she has an air of strength and confidence that you can just sense being around her. I love that about her. It’s always nice to see young women who are proud of who they are, and make no apologies for their authentic selves while remaining kind and down to earth.
She is another member of the North Penn Class of 2016, and you can often find her playing basketball, softball, singing, or dancing. She is also participating in her school’s work study program where she is studying under her old kindergarten teacher at an elementary school. For three periods a day, she gets a dose of the real world with the bonus of helping and playing with little kids.
Despite having quite a full plate of extracurricular activities, family and friends are very important to Gabby. Her favorite memories include vacationing with her entire family and best friend in Fenwick Island, DE where they kayaked, jet skied, fished, and lounged on the beach. She’s also looking forward to what the rest of her senior year has in store including North Penn’s mini THON event and the senior class trip to Disney!
Gabby is currently weighing her options for what she wants to pursue after high school, and I can’t wait to see where she ends up. Whatever it is, I have no doubt that Gabby will be making a powerful and positive impact!
