4 years ago today, I convinced my husband, after months of begging, to visit a local pet rescue “Just to look! I swear!” Heh. We ended up meeting a super scruffy little dog with hair so long you couldn’t even see his eyes. He came into the visiting area, practically jumped into my hubby’s arms and then impressed him with his fetching skills and playful spirit. *Love at first sight* They told us that they had found him wandering the streets of Philadelphia obviously neglected and malnourished, and that he had just come to the shelter a few days earlier. *Falling harder for this pup*

About 20 minutes later and after a quick haircut that revealed a skinny 12 pound pup with one blue eye and one brown eye *pick me up off the floor, I’m completely in love now*,   we were taking home our new little friend. Perhaps the funniest part of this day was that we were 100% NOT prepared for this and actually had stop at a pet shop on the way home to buy some essentials. You know… like food and water bowls, a bed, leash, and more toys than probably necessary. He was spoiled from Day 1!  🙂

So that is how our little Buster dog made his way into our lives, and he’s been entertaining us every day since then with his unique quirks. That playful pup prefers sleeping 20 hours a day now is a little more subdued now. 😉 He’ll sit on my laptop WHILE I’M USING IT, sleep in our pantry, snore so loudly you can hear him across the house, go completely nuts for edamame or bananas, and has pretty much claimed every couch in the house as his own. Most importantly, he actually cooperates whenever I want to take pictures of him. What a good mascot for ADP. 🙂
