I always adore how mothers and their kids interact together.  It’s almost like a peeking into a secret world. Moms know everything about their children – what makes them laugh, what makes them sad, when they’re tired, when they need a hug, how they like their sandwiches cut,  which teddy is their best friend, and the list goes on and on. I’m always amazed by all of the things moms observe and learn about their children, and I love how kids look up to their moms and are enamored with them. She is the most important person in their world and they trust everything she says.  Their bond is so strong that the love can be felt just being in their presence. That’s exactly what I hope to capture during a Mommy & Me session!

This week I got to photograph my friend, Mel, and her two adorable kids. I just loved this session! Her kids had me smiling and cracking up the whole time. We had a great time walking around Fischer’s Park on a gorgeous sunny morning.

Little Man C was such a sweetheart! He was very excited about getting pictures taken and even helped out as my assistant trying to get his little sister to smile for me. This included a lot of adorable singing and dancing. He’s also quite the charmer as he held my hand as we walked from spot to spot.

And then there’s little Miss E! I just loved this sweet and sassy little girl. And those pigtails? My goodness! Way too adorable.

Loved capturing the moments they all shared together while having a little snack on the picnic blanket and walking around the park.

Mel, it is obvious that you’re a great mom to these adorable little ones! They are such lovely children and I enjoyed our morning together. Thanks so much for letting me photograph you all!
